Board of Directors

Canby School District's Board of Directors are elected from our community to provide strong leadership, guidance, and policy development. The Board works with our district administration to build a highly successful local educational system that responds to the needs of our children.

Board priorities for 2005-2010 are:

~Increase student achievement
~Enhance positive school-community relations
~Develop a K-12 culture that promotes student, parent, staff success
~Ensure efficient use of resources

The board meets in workshop session on the second Thursday of each month and in regular session on the fourth Thursday of each month. Regular and workshop sessions start at 6:30pm and are open to the public in the new Applied Technology Center's OMNI Room--located on the high school campus. These meetings are also taped to be shown on Cable Access Channel 5. Workshop sessions will be held at the District Office Meridian Room.
