Online Registration for the 2021-22 School Years is now Open!

Online Registration is only available for students who will be new to the Canby School District (if you are unable to register your child online, contact your neighborhood school). Your child is considered a returning student if they have previously attended a Canby district school. Students returning to the district will need to contact their neighborhood school for the enrollment process. The Boundary Map can be used to help determine your neighborhood school.

Before the beginning of every school year, we request that parents/guardians begin to review and/or update their family and student information. Keeping your family's information up to date is crucial to receiving timely communication from Canby School District and ensures that you can be contacted in case of emergency. These updates can be done online through your ParentVUE account.

What you need to get started:

Family Updates: After logging in to ParentVUE, click on the "Family Updates and New Student Enrollment" tab in the top right hand corner to start the verification process.

KEY INFORMATION
  • New families to the Canby School District starting the registration process will create an online registration account. If you are a current Canby School District parent, use your existing ParentVUE account to begin the process.
  • When enrolling for Kindergarten, your child must be 5 years old on or before September 1st.
  • Only custodial parents can enroll their student in a Canby school.
  • During your online registration process, you may be asked to provide information or upload documents about you and your student.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO REGISTER

  1. Proof of student's birthdate (birth certificate, hospital record, passport, or baptismal record)
  2. Immunization records
  3. At least one emergency contact - including address and phone number
  4. Physician and dentist phone numbers
  5. Proof of address (two original documents, dated within the last 30 days, that reflect the home address of the parent/guardian and student) Examples include:
  • Financial documents (bank statement, credit card bill, pay stub)
  • Utility bills (phone, electric, natural gas, water)
  • Government documents (social security, unemployment insurance, WIC, Oregon Health Plan)
  • Insurance (home, rental, health, or car)
  • Real estate documents (mortgage, rental, lease agreement)
  • NOTE: A DRIVER'S LICENSE IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE PROOF OF ADDRESS

NEXT STEPS ONCE YOU'VE COMPLETED ONLINE REGISTRATION

  • The account you created for online registration is now your ParentVUE account. ParentVUE is the parent portal that allows you to see your students' educational information. Visit our ParentVUE page for more information.
  • Your school will make contact with you directly to determine next steps in the registration process.
