Post High Transition Services

Post High Services for Students 18 - 21 years old

This Post-High class is a specialized program that provides services to students out of high school whose Individual Education Plan (IEP) demonstrates a need for significant career and post high school support as well as communication, socialization, and life skills development. Skills are developed with significant adult support through individualized instruction and strategies such as:

  • Use of learned functional and applied academics
  • Individualized flexible schedule
  • Community and classroom instruction
  • Career skill development, practice and support
  • Life leisure skills development and support in community recreational activities
  • Independent living skills development in adult life activities
  • Connection to adult/community service agencies
  • Accessing and navigating the community of all of Clackamas County using public transportation
