Three hundred and fifty-four graduates received their diploma and amassed an astounding $1.5 million in college scholarships. More students than ever have chosen to attend community colleges. A partial list of colleges selected by Canby seniors include Clackamas, Portland, Chemeketa CC, Mt Hood, and Central Oregon Community Colleges; Oregon State, U of O, WOU, SOU, OIT, PSU, U of Portland, Linfield, Lewis & Clark, Corban, Northwest Christian University, George Fox University and multiple out-of-state higher education institutions. Congratulations to all 354 graduates and best wishes as they move on to the next stage in their lives.

Tuesday, June 15 is the final day for certified staff. Check with your child's school for information on report cards, summer hours, etc. School web sites will be updated with supply lists and bus routes as they are received. The district office will remain open throughout the summer months.

Canby School District will provide updated information regarding potential changes to the school year calendar as soon as the state of Oregon announces its 2010-11 funding for K-12 schools. This information will be shared via parent listserv email messages, web sites, and local news media.
