Canby School District embraces the use of technology by students and staff as an efficient and successful tool to work, learn, explore, create, and communicate. Every teacher in CSD has a laptop to use for management and development of his or her course/classroom materials and curriculum and communication with parents, community members and coworkers. Each school is equipped with computer labs for exploratory research, project development, assessment, and more. Portable computer carts are available for individual classroom use for special projects or research. Add to that a number of additional technologies such as digital cameras, presenters, etc. in each building to further expand the possibilities.

Central Services staff use mutiple technology-based services for student information and assessment management, financial and personnel management, publications and information sharing, and the overall business of managing over 500 employees who serve over 5,000 students. The district and school-based technology staff work to provide exceptional support in maintaining all elements of the technologies and services.
